Escola Portuguesa Fernando Pessoa
The Fernando Pessoa Portuguese School is one of the facilities of the Portuguese Cultural Center of Mississauga (PCCM) and its main objective is to make the language of Luso-descendants “alive” to those belonging to the communities, emigrants and their families.
This School aims to promote the Portuguese language; to promote the Culture of Portugal; explain the existence of certain words, expressions, activities, festivities, objects and other curiosities; encourage “speaking”; disinhibit, encourage and experience language through games, entertainment, images, books, etc.
This School has a window of classes for children and teenagers (on Saturdays) and for adults (on Wednesdays) and operates in the facilities of the Portuguese Cultural Center of Mississauga.
It is also important to know that Escola Portuguesa Fernando Pessoa works in partnership with Instituto Camões and Consulado de Portugal in Toronto.

Portuguese lessons begin October 1st
Saturdays
Children 4 to 12 years old (10 am to 12 pm)
Teens 13 to 18 years old (12:30 pm to 2:30 pm)
Wednesdays
Adults 18 + years old (10 pm to 12 pm)
