The Portuguese Cultural Centre of Mississauga (“PCCM”) was founded on February 26, 1974. Our Cultural Centre has proudly represented the Portuguese Community in Mississauga for over 50 years. We have over 500 active members and our facility runs on the hard work of our volunteers.
To promote social, cultural and recreational activities, preservation and development of Portuguese culture, teach the Portuguese language, literature, geography and history. Promote good citizenship, youth activities, tolerance and understanding and to participate in general community activities for the benefit of society in general.

The Portuguese Cultural Centre of Mississauga (PCCM) is a cornerstone of the community, hosting events such as flag raisings, festivals, fundraisers, and Carassauga’s Portuguese Pavilion. It has been an honour to join these gatherings that celebrate heritage, foster connections across generations, and keep culture alive for future Canadians. The PCCM is more than a venue—it’s the heartbeat of the Portuguese community in Mississauga.
